Client: Education Authority NI
Location: Ballymena

Castle Tower Campus is one of the largest SEN education facilities in the UK. The School caters for 320 Pupils across the entire age spectrum 3–19 years (i.e. Nursery, Primary, Secondary and Post 16 provision) with a range of Moderate to Complex needs. The building’s two distinct curve forms, incorporating Primary and Secondary accommodation, fuse at a central concourse to form the main entrance, social/dining area for the campus.

The single–storey, nursery/primary wing encompass three distinct sensory, play & reflective outdoor gardens. In contrast the two–storey secondary/post 16 accommodation embrace a central atrium in which a range of break–out, educational & social spaces challenge and inspire the learning experience. A central collaborative staircase and climbing wall offer a unique level of inclusion even for a SEN School.
