The project was funded by the Department of Education and delivered in conjunction with the South Eastern Education Authority, with a construction cost of £1.9m.
The project includes a large multi–purpose hall with 3no. GAA ‘One Wall’ Handball Courts supported by a suite of changing rooms and, a large youth club social area on the first floor offering gallery style views into the main hall. The building was designed to BREEAM ‘Very Good’ standards achieving both a high thermal fabric and airtightness performance.
